My name is İlyas Saltay. I am from Samsun, and I run my work from here. I did not come to software through a curriculum but through my own curiosity — the first sites I built were for nobody, just to see them work. I have been working in digital since 2018, starting freelance with product photography, typesetting, graphic design and SEO copywriting.
I work in digital marketing and project coordination. I clarify client needs, connect clients with the right specialist partners, and lead delivery with my own team.
What I do
I plan digital marketing and web and software projects, connect clients with the specialist partners their work needs, and coordinate communication across the team. I lead implementation with my own team. My technical background includes corporate web systems built on Next.js and PHP and the Linux server infrastructure behind them; my portfolio spans heavy industry, food export, catering and education.
I do not consider a job finished until it is running in production. I never say "it works" without measuring; and when a fault appears I stay with it until the root cause is found rather than patching over it. Staying calm during an outage or a payment failure is worth as much as the technique itself in this line of work.
Digital marketing and team delivery
AI tools can support parts of the workflow, but they do not replace the team doing the work. I coordinate the client, specialist partners and my own team, keeping communication clear and delivery moving. People with the relevant expertise review and carry out the work; I stay accountable for the result.
Outside the work
I support Fenerbahçe. Walking by the sea and taking photographs is what rests me.
